KARACHI: The Sindh Revenue Board has issued third notice to M/s. Axact for payment of sales tax. Sindh Revenue Board Chairman Tashfeen Niaz told Customs Today that if the company did not reply to their notice then strict action will be taken against it.
He further clarified that more clarifications are sought from Axact regarding franchises, restaurants and advertising companies. The board will be able to estimate net sales tax amount payable by the company after receiving its reply, he said.
Tashfeen Niaz said that the board had served them first notice on May 20, a second notice on May 28 and now on June 8, 2015 they are sent a third and final notice. He said that if the company did not submit the required information then legal proceedings will take place against it.
