SRB suspends registeration of Saima Enterprises over tax evasion

KARACHI: Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) suspended the sales tax registeration of M/s. Saima Enterprises. The company is still failed to deposit monthly sales statement.

According to a notification issued by Sindh Revenue Board M/s. Saima Enterprises is liable to pay Rs 2.2 million under the head of sales tax from June 2014 to February 2015. The above said company avoiding to clear outstanding dues of sales tax. Now SRB warns the company if it will not clear the outstanding dues till February 18, the authorities will cancelled its registeration on permanent basis.

It is pertinent to mention here that Sindh Revenue Board authorities already cancelled the registeration of three companies due to tax evasion, while warning is already issued to some company asking them to clear outstanding dues as early as possible.
