Colombo: Sri Lanka Customs has seized a package containing 227 grams of heroin worth Rs. 3 million at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake today.
The package with the heroin concealed in clothes has been sent from Mumbai to a resident of Minuwangoda.
The officers of air cargo unit of the Customs at the International Airport have made the detection.
Following investigations two suspects aged 45 and 26 years have been arrested.
The Sri Lanka Customs at the airport are conducting further investigations.
