COLOMBO: Sri Lanka’s Nations Trust Bank is to issue listed rated unsecured subordinated redeemable debentures worth 3.5 billion rupees to meet BASEL III requirements.
The bank said in a stock exchange filing that the Director Board on Wednesday resolved to issue 35,000,000 debentures at 100 rupees each, subject to necessary approvals. Nations Trust Bank said the debt issue will be quoted on the exchange even though the rates and tenor was not announced.
