State Bank sells Treasury bills worth Rs2,586b

KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) stated that the government has sold T-bills worth Rs2.586 trillion rupees in auction.

According to the central bank, the government auctioned three-month period bills amounting to 2012 billion rupees. The cut-off yield for the three-month bills remained at 21.99%.

The SBP announced that the government has sold six-month period bills worth 223 billion rupees. The cut-off yield for the six-month bills increased 5 basis points to reach 21.989%.

The State Bank also mentioned that the government has sold twelve-month period bills worth 350 billion rupees. The cut-off yield for the twelve-month bills remained at 21.99%.
