State Minister Abid Sher briefs Sindh governor over electricity situation

KARACHI: Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali met Sindh Governor Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan here on Wednesday and briefed him about the efforts being made to overcome shortage of electricity in the country.

The minister said that fair distribution of electricity in all areas of the country was being ensured, while measures were also being taken to control power theft without any discrimination.

He said that various power generation projects have been initiated to bridge the gap of electricity shortage. He hoped that load-shedding will be ended within next three years after completion of those projects.

The governor appreciated the measures being taken by the federal government for power generation.
