Linux redditors seemed pleased about Steam’s big game sale:
Nutronium: “I wish all 3 Bioshocks were available on Linux. Would instabuy and instaplay!”
DerBunman: “I just can’t get warm with TPS. For BL2 on the other hand I would pay double of the normal prince if I could wipe my memory of this game and enjoy it again.”
1pr3f3rp1: “Haha, my bank was down yesterday so I couldnt buy it, now I can get the season pass edition for almost a third of the price I was gonna spend! Praise GabeN!”
Barbariandude: “Anybody who doesn’t have XCOM yet, I heavily recommend it. Add in the Long War mod after winning the game once on Normal difficulty for the most compelling turn-based game I’ve ever played.”
Hekerui: “It’s astounding, I apparently saved 83,3% today. I always wanted to play the Bioshock games and Borderlands 2!”
GMotor: “This is great. I never believed we’d get big games on Linux but it’s happening. As a community we should welcome it, even if the port isn’t perfect (or uses Eon). We need to bring developers closer to us and make Linux THE platform for developing and playing games.
