Eradicating Corruption: FBR fires upper division clerk

LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue has dismissed upper division clerk (UDC) Nasir Ali khan against massive tax evasion, fraud and misconduct.

Taxpayer Muhammad Hamayun khan and Muhammad khuram Taj filed suit against Nasir Ali khan and some seniors, after proceedings board dismissed UDC Nasir Ali khan.

As per details, two tax payer Muhammad Hamayun Khan NTN 3172981-9 in year 2011-13 and Muhammad Khuram Taj NTN 2698215-3 in year 2011-13 filed a case against inspector Seghal Husain and upper division clerck Nasir Ali khan against fraud in income tax return and wealth tax statement.

After the board proceeding FBR dismissed Nasir Ali khan and proceedings against inspector Inland Revenue Malik Sehgal Hussain case still continue and hearing will be announced later on.

The dismissal from the service of Nasir Ail Khan against 20 to 25000 corruption and misconduct under rule 4(1) (5)(1v) of government service rule 1973.
