NEW YORK: Charles E. Stuckey was the big winner at the annual Greater Vernon Parish Chamber of Commerce’s Annual $20,000, being the last ticket drawn on the evening of Sept. 22 at Celebrations of Leesville.
A total of 250 ticket holders and guests attended the event, with the first ticket drawn winning $500, which was Linda Hester of DeRidder.
Every 10th ticket took home a very nice door prize thereafter, until the final prize of the evening, the $20,000, was captured by Stuckey.
Presenting Stuckey with his check were Raffle Ticket Chairman Dr. Jesse Brandon and Chamber Executive Director Anne Causey.
