Students told importance of taxes during FBR House visit

ISLAMABAD: A group of students and faculty members from a local boys college has visited FBR House to learn about the role and importance of taxes and the working of taxation system.

Facilitation and Taxpayers Education (FATE) Wing Chief Tehmina Aamer accompanied by Admin Wing Chief Tariq Ghani welcomed the students and gave them a detailed presentation on the role and working of FBR as well as the importance of taxes and resource mobilisation for socio-economic development.

Later, a question and answer session followed in which students asked keen questions about different aspects of taxation system and fiscal policy.

College Principal Prof Khumar Gul also spoke on the occasion and thanked the FBR officials for giving his students an opportunity to learn about the importance of taxes and taxation system.
