Sukhbir Singh leaves for Dubai after changing his currency

LAHORE: Indian Punjabi singer Sukhbir Singh was detained by the airport security officials at Allama Iqbal International Airport when customs officials found illegal money from his luggage. Money found in his luggage was $29000.

Sources told Customs Today that the Pakistani officials detained him but he disappeared from the spot and dodged the ASF and Customs at the airport.

On Monday nigh, he came back to the airport with changed currency from dollars to dirham where the officials allowed him to go to Dubai. Sources said that the airport security has allowed him to go after the involvement and suggestions of the Pakistani high authorities and Indian High Commissioner. Sources also said that Sukhbir Singh was in Islamabad where he met the Indian High Commissioner to seek help.

Sukhbir Singh said that he was vanished from the airport because he was afraid that his money would be seized and he will be forced to face charges just like Ayan Ali.

Anyhow on Monday night Pakistani authorities allowed him to go for Dubai via Emirates airlines.
