Sukkur Chief Commissioner for expediting drive to promote tax amnesty scheme

SUKKUR: In a bid to create awareness about Voluntary Tax Compliance Scheme among local business community, Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue Syed Nadeem Hassan visited bazaars of the city.

Commissioner IR (Zone-I) Syed Tahir Raza Zaidi and Additional Commissioner (focal person VTCS Zone-I) Dr Pervez Ahmed Shar were also along with the chief commissioner.

Syed Nadeem Hassan issued on spot directions for further speeding up of publicity campaign for the tax amnesty scheme. Dr Pervez Ahmed briefed the chief commissioner about the publicity campaign of scheme. During his visit, Syed Nadeem met with the traders of Shaheed Gunj Electronic Market, Clock Tower, Sarafa Bazar, Frere Road and Shahi Bazar Sukkur.

The chief commissioner lauded efforts of Commissioner Syed Tahir Raza Zaidi and his team and also directed that officers should visit all adjacent areas and convince the traders towards the scheme. The traders welcomed the Voluntary Tax Compliance Scheme 2016 as good step by the government and assured for their cooperation.
