QUEENSLAND: Sunshine Coast police have wrapped up an eight month investigation, making a total of 92 arrests and seizing millions of dollars worth of the drug ice.
The multi-agency operation involving Sunshine Coast police and the drug and serious crime group in Brisbane targeted an ice network distributing throughout the Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay and other regional centres across Queensland.
92 arrests have been made in total, 41 of them from the Sunshine Coast were charged with drug trafficking.
The fruits of the operation were plenty, with more than 2.5 kg of ice with a street value of about 1.5 million seized as a result.
A number of people involved in the syndicate have been charged under the VLAD legislation.
