ISLAMABAD: Feroz Ahmed, posted as Superintendent at Regional Tax Office, has been exonerated from the charges level against him.
The disciplinary proceedings were started against the officer under Government Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) Rules, 1973, while Khalid Hussain Jamali, Additional Collector, MCC (Preventive), Karachi was appointed as inquiry officer to investigate the charges levelled against the officer due to his absence from duty.
According to inquiry report, the charges levelled against the accused officer were partially established as the officer could not maintain regularity and punctuality due to his illness. On the basis of inquiry report, the Authorised Officer/Chief (Management-Customs) FBR by taking a lenient view exonerated Feroz Ahmed from the charges levelled against him.
