ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan will hear a petition filed by customs collectorate against the decision of the Sindh High Court on removal of Ayyan Ali’s name from the Exit Control List (ECL).
Sources informed Customs Today that during today’s hearing, the customs authorities will present a copy of the decision of the customs adjudication before the Supreme Court and will adopt a plea that the customs adjudication has already imposed penalty of Rs 50 million on Ayyan Ali. Sources said that customs counsel will also pray to the court not to remove Ayyan Ali’s name from the ECL because if she will travel abroad then there will be rare chances that she will come back.
