Suspects of ISAF containers case get bail

KARACHI: Six persons arrested on Dec 7 for allegedly stealing ISAF containers at a private yard at Port Qasim, have got bail from Customs Courts and Sindh High Court.

One of the senior officials of Pakistan Customs informed Customs Today that the challan against the owner of the private company has been presented before the court and further investigation is underway in this regard.

The owner of the private company has already been granted bail before arrest by Sindh High Court in the case. Six other accused who were granted bail include Rizwan Yousaf, Muhammad Rizwan Ishaq, Muhammad Rafiq, Shahzad, Idrees Khan and Qaiser Ali.

It may be mentioned here that the Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) of MCC Preventive has seized three containers bearing registration numbers LMSU 1400780, USAU 2059417 and MBIU 8260838 and two trailers bearing registration numbers TLQ-857 and TLC-514 during the raid.
