TOKYO: Suzuki has released first pictures and information about the Suzuki Alto RS Turbo.The new car is set to be fully unveiled in January next year during the Tokyo Auto Salon. This is a Suzuki Alto turbocharged version of the standard model and will comes for the Japanese market. The vehicle power is provided by a 660cc petrol engine, and based on a completely new platform and is up to 60 kg (132 lbs) lighter than its predecessor, but no details about the maximum output. For information, the standard version of the Kei car can be offered with either a 5-speed automated manual or a CVT, so the same setup is expected for the RS Turbo too. Visually, Suzuki Alto RS Turbo comes with red accents for the bumpers, red mirror caps and red 17-inch alloy wheels and expected to be launched in Japan at car dealership in March 2015.
