Suzuki Mehran loaded with 10,025 kg black tea, 100 kg green tea impounded

PESHAWAR: In the pursuance of a prior tip-off, the Anti-Smuggling Units of the Model Customs Collecorate Peshawar arrested the smuggling of miscellaneous goods and generated Rs3.5million revenue in the first week of October.

According to detail explained to Customs Today on Friday that 10,025 kg black tea was impounded along with the 100 kg green tea loaded on a Suzuki Mehran U/S 157. The Anti-Smuggling Unit of Peshawar Customs also foiled a smuggling of 1,375 yards embroidered micro velvet cloth and 2,270 yards of ladies cotton cloth and 1,125 kg of dry milk being transported from Suzuki Mehran No: STE-44 (U/S 147).
