Swiss companies shows interest to invest in Pakistan

KARACHI: Swiss companies are interested to invest in Pakistan, said the Swiss ambassador to Pakistan Marc Pierre George.

He said that steps taken by the authorities have shown definite improvement in the security situation. Business communities were now keen to benefit from opportunities created, and invest more and more in Pakistan. This has been appreciated by the small and medium enterprises in his country also which was the backbone of Swiss economy. Swiss companies are now “ready to take risks and invest in Pakistan”, despite energy, and other problems. The world famous Nestle has been in Pakistan for 50 years, and are keen to enlarge their operation here.
