KATHMANDU: Swisscom has launched a company-wide appeal for the earthquake victims in Nepal. Employees have donated more than CHF 100,000. Swisscom said it would double that amount, bringing the total donation to CHF 250,000.

Swisscom is also waiving call charges to and from Nepal for its customers for a month, in an effort to make it as easy as possible for relatives and aid organisations to contact their families and employees in the country.
