Syed Faisal Ali Sabzwari takes charge as federal minister for maritime affairs

ISLAMABAD: Syed Faisal Ali Subzwari has taken charge as a Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs in Islamabad.

Federal Minister Subzwari was welcomed in his office by Additional Secretary and other senior officials of the Ministry. Minister received briefing on the functions and affairs of the Ministry from Additional Secretary Maritime Affairs. Minister further assured that he will soon visit all the departments of the ministry in Karachi.

Earlier, Senate chairman Sadiq Sanjrani presided over the oath-taking ceremony of the members of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s 37-member cabinet after President Dr Arif Alvi was said to have green lighted the nominations.

Sanjrani delivered the oath to Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Ahsan Iqbal, Rana Sanaullah, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Rana Tanveer Hussain, Khurram Dastgir Khan, Marriyum Aurangzeb, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Miftah Ismail, Mian Javed Latif, Riaz Hussain Pirzada, Murtaza Javed Abbasi, Azam Nazir Tarar, Syed Khurshid Ahmad Shah, Syed Naveed Qamar, Sherry Rehman, Abdul Qadir Patel, Shazia Marri, Syed Murtaza Mahmood, Sajid Hussain Turi, Ehsan-ur-Rehman Mazari, Abid Hussain, Asad Mahmood, Abdul Wasay, and Mufti Abdul Shakoor.

The ministers administered the oath also included Talha Mahmood, Syed Aminul Haq, Syed Faisal Ali Sabzwari, Muhammad Israr Tareen, Nawabzada Shah Zain Bugti and Tariq Bashir Cheema were approved as federal ministers.
