ISLAMABAD: Syed Salahuddin Gillani, a BS-18 officer of Inland Revenue Service, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner-IR
The officer, on reinstatement into service vide Board’s Notification No.2441 -IR -II/2017 dated 14.09.2017, was posted as Deputy Commissioner-IR, Regional Tax Office-II, Karachi with immediate effect and until further orders.
The officer has been directed to relinquish/assume charge, using online HRMS facility made available at all FBR major field offices or by using IJP login.
Gillani was reinstated into the government service with effect from June 30, 2015 in pursuance of order dated 16.01.2017 passed by the learned Federal Service Tribunal, Islamabad in Appeal No. 2124(R) (CS)/2015 and order dated 15.08.2017 passed by the Supreme Court of Pakistan in CP No. 1012/2017. The matter of back benefits will depend upon the final outcome of fresh inquiry.
