Syed Tanveer Ahmad relinquishes charge as Chief

ISLAMABAD: Syed Tanveer Ahmad, a Pakistan Customs Service officer of BS-20, has relinquished the charge of the post of Chief.

The officer, pursuing the Law & Justice Division’s Notification No.F.2(9)/2015-A.IV dated 05.04.2017, relinquished the charge of the post of Chief, Federal Board of Revenue (HQ), Islamabad with effect from April 10.

Tanveer Ahmad had relinquished the charge as Director, Directorate General of Training & Research (Customs), Karachi on February 11, 2016 and took the charge as Director General (OPS), Directorate General of Customs Valuation, Customs House, Karachi on the same date.

The BS-20 officer took the charge of the post of Director, Directorate General of Training & Research (Customs), Karachi after relinquishing the charge as Gwadar Collector on February 12, 2016. He had assumed charge of the post of Collector at Model Customs Collectorate, Gwadar on January 7, 2014.

Tanveer, being BS-19 officer, also gave his services as Project Director (OPS), WeBOC/One Customs, Model Customs Collectorate of PACCS in year 2013.
