TAIPEI: Taiwan stocks were weaker on Tuesday as local investors couldn’t shake the worries felt by regional bourses over the trouble in Greece.
The main TAIEX index fell 0.6 percent to 9,200.71, after closing down 0.46 percent on Monday.
The financials index lost 0.1 percent, while the electronics index was off 0.8 percent.
The downbeat sentiment comes as foreign investors continued to sell domestic shares on a net basis Monday, leaving an unbroken net selling streak since the start of June.
