TAIPEI: Taiwan has become the second country to submit a complaint to the Word Trade Organisation following the US decision to impose an import tariff on PV modules. The initial 30% rate will drop to 15% by year four.
Taiwanese company United Renewable Energy Company (UREC), due to be officially formed later this year by Neo Solar Power (NSP), Gintech Energy and Solartech Energy has said it is planning to establish a module manufacturing facility in the US.
