TAIPEI: Taiwan Textile Research Institute President Bai Chi-chung recently said that the TTRI will become more diverse internationally this year, through creating intelligent textile products and advanced development.
Bai said that company revenue in 2014 exceeded NT$1 billion. The TTRI also made a new record in applying for patents, with 1,140 applications. Bai also said that 674 of the applications were granted, with 497 patents still active.
The TTRI will also develop more intelligent textile products this year, as well as textile products that can be used causally, outdoors and for protection.
