TOKYO: Not too long ago, a new Tekken 7 character was introduced from the middle east. His name was revealed to be Shaheen and without a doubt, he is a worthy addition to the roster.

Some new gameplay images has been shared from Tekken 7, showing Shaheen in all his glory. He puts on a stylish Saudi trademark keffiyeh, an even more stylish coat along with unique cape. With Shaheen, developers have showed cross-cultural sensitivity as they have done in the past as well.

These images are the first time we are seeing this character in action, since he was announced. Looking at the images and his body language, I feel like he is a combination of Jin Kazama and Hwoarang. Well, at least that’s the vibe I get.

As for the visuals, the game looks amazing all thanks to the power of Unreal Engine 4. If you didn’t notice, Shaheen has a shoulder piece of the shape of an eagle. It looks to be made out of gold and has very pointy rear. It’s a nice touch considering Shaheen translates as eagle.

Overall, Shaheen is a force to be reckoned with and is an intimidating dude!

Tekken 7 is heading to Japanese arcades in a few days and we’ll soon receive more details regarding a console version of the game as well.

For now, check out the screens below and let us know what you think of this middle eastern fighter in the comments section.
