Taliban financier killed in Swat operation

ISLAMABAD: Security forces have killed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) financier and notorious militant Bakhat Raj alias Asadullah in an operation in Swat region.

According to a security official, Bakhat Raj financed the militant group’s terrorist activities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Buner district and the port city of Karachi. Security forces are carrying out intelligence-driven operations across Pakistan during which a number of important militants have been rounded up.
