TOKYO: Mortal Kombat X  is going to introduce a new character to its fairly extensive roster in June. Tanya, who originally appeared back in Mortal Kombat 4, will soon join the cast.

NetherRealm Studios creative director Ed Boon said that she’ll arrive in early June. He stopped short of providing an exact date.

Tanya’s finishers and updated design were recently revealed in a patch for Mortal Kombat X. Very little else is known about this returning character who last appeared in Mortal Kombat Armageddon.

Alongside Tanya, NetherRealm Studios will release a trio of costumes for Kano, Sonya Blade, and Liu Kang.

The last two characters in the Kombat Pack, Tremor and the Predator, will be released at a later date.
