ISLAMABAD: The Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline project would help overcoming energy crisis of the country.
Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Resources Jam Kamal Khan said this while talking to media persons outside the Parliament House. He said the project would produce numerous opportunities of employment and bring prosperity in the region. He said that pipeline would be laid in four countries in accordance with the agreement and it would increase mutual cooperation in the region.
To a query, Jam Kamal said that the Sindh government should extend the Rangers’ powers in Karachi keeping in view of the public interest. He said law and order situation was significantly improved in business hub of the country due to the operation carried out by Rangers against the elements creating unrest.
