LAHORE: Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Tariq Bajwa has rubbished the news about his transfer while holding a meeting through video link with all chief commissioners and commissioners of Regional Tax Offices (RTOs) and Large Taxpayers Units (LTUs) to review the performance.
He said that all the officials should continue their work with full determination to increase the tax collection and broaden the tax net in larger interest of the country.
He added that transfer of any person should not come in the way of responsibilities whether he was him or another.
It is important to mention here that some media reports have claimed that transfer of FBR Chairman Tariq Bajwa can be made in upcoming days, while Bajwa has denied all the media reports.
