Tariq Huda relinquishes charge as DG of Karachi Customs DGTR

ISLAMABAD: Syed Muhammad Tariq Huda, a Pakistan Customs Service officer of BS-21, has relinquished the charge as Director General of Directorate General of Training & Research (Customs).

The officer, in pursuance of Establishment Division Islamabad’s Notification No.34/2/2018-E-I dated 07.05.2018, relinquished the charge of the post of Karachi DGTR Director General with effect from May 11, 2018.

Tariq Huda relinquished the charge of the post of Director General (OPS), Directorate General of Training & Research (Customs), Karachi on February 22, 2018 on his promotion to BS-21 and assumed the charge of the post of Director General, Directorate General of Training & Research (Customs), Karachi on the same date.

He had taken charge of the post of Collector, Collectorate of Customs (Appeals), Karachi on February 27, 2017. He had assumed charge of the post of Collector, Model Customs Collectorate of Preventive, Karachi with effect from August 26, 2013 after relinquishing charge of the post of Chief. Federal Board of Revenue, Islamabad on August 23.

Tariq Huda had assumed the charge of the post of Chief, in FBR (HQ), Islamabad on 15th May, 2013 after his promotion to BS-20. He had relinquished the charge of the post of Additional Director, Customs Valuation, Customs House, Karachi with effect from January 03, 2012.

The officer had also been working as Director, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, Karachi for a period of three years.
