ISLAMABAD: All field offices will remain open and observe extended working hours from 09:00am to 10:00pm on Wednesday (December 30) and from 09:00am to 12:00pm on Thursday (December 31) for receipt of income tax returns and collection of duties/taxes.
The Chief Commissioners have also been directed to establish liaison with State Bank of Pakistan and authorised branches of National Bank of Pakistan to ensure transfer of tax collection by these branches before or on December 31 to respective offices of the central bank.
