LAHORE: Punjab Government has decided to observe tax day on provincial level of 10th of April. Chief secretary Punjab Khizar Hayat Gondal said that all departments should play their due role for promotion of tax culture in the province.
Provincial minister of finance Ayesha Ghous Pasha, chairman Punjab Revenue Authority and other officers were also present during the meeting.
According to sources of Customs Today Punjab government will observe this day to aware people about importance of tax. All taxation departments of the province will participate in the campaign to improve tax collections. Excise and taxation department of Punjab, Punjab Revenue Authority and Government of Punjab will be a part of this day. Banners and streamers would be displayed to highlight the importance of taxation on services.
