Sources confirmed that additional details related to the Hudaibiya Papers Mills have also been sent to the FBR.

In order to send the details to the FBR, a section at the income tax office worked over the Eid holidays.

The Panama case Joint Investigation Team (JIT), formed in light of the Supreme Court’s April 20 judgment to probe into the Sharif family’s assets, has asked the FBR for the relevant record.

Earlier in Islamabad, former chairperson of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lieutenant General (retd) Syed Muhammad Amjad recorded on Thursday his statement before the JIT.

According to sources, Lt Gen (R) Amjad – the first chairperson of the anti-graft body – recorded his statement regarding the Hudaibiya Paper Mills case. He also reportedly told the JIT why the case has been at a standstill since a long time.
