ISLAMABAD: Intelligence and investigation of Inland Revenue (I and I) Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has started campaign against the tax defaulters and has raided to arrest the owners of the Fort Associates Islamabad.
According to details on the direction of Special Customs Judge Rana Aftab Husain the IR department has raided on the branches of Fort Associates F-10, F-8 and Bhara Koh branch but the accused were undergrounded.
Sources added that the owners of Fort Associates are involved in Rs 50.9 million of tax evasion. While the accused also fail to get Bail before of Arrest (BBA) from the high court as well.
Sources also added that the owners of the Fort associate have also a guest house in Jinah Super market, and they have to pay taxes of this guest house as well.
