LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) authorities raided Ilyas Steel Mills. The authorities conducted the raid to arrest the owner of the steel mills who is allegedly involved in tax evasion f Rs 41 million.
Sources told Customs Today that during the audit of 2008, it was revealed that the said amount is still pending against the mill. It is pertinent to mention here that FBR’s Regional Tax Office has started taking action against Ilyas Steel Mills.
