ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has emphatically stated that its online tax return filing system is running smoothly,

… rebutting unfounded reports circulating on certain social media platforms alleging issues with the PRAL system’s upgrade, leading to difficulties for taxpayers in submitting their tax returns, wealth data, taxes under sections 7E and 4C, among others.

The FBR has categorically dismissed these misleading claims, asserting that all its applications, including the Integral Revenue Information System (IRIS), are fully operational.
