Taxpayers asked to contact excise on not receiving property tax challans

ISLAMABAD: Excise and Taxation Punjab has asked the citizens to contact the offices concerned if they have not received property tax challan forms till August 31.

Sources said that a meeting of officials of Excise and Taxation Rawalpindi was held under the chairmanship of Director Excise Tanveer Gondal in order to spread the message in this regard among the people.

They added that the challan forms are distributed at the earliest among taxpayers so that they could take benefit of five percent discount which is affected till September 30, 2015, adding that those taxpayers should contact to department, who have not received form so far.

It is important to mention here that at least 100,000 computerized property tax challan were issued to Rawalpindi region by the headquarters. A meeting was also held here to make a strategy to disburse the notices.
