Taxpayers preferring manual system for filing tax returns‏

MULTAN: Federal Board of Revenue Regional Tax Office Multan is facing slow tax collection process due to rampant use of  manual tax collection system collection.

According to the sources, the RTO Multan has collected almost 13500 tax returns through e-filing and almost 34158 taxpayers filed their tax returns through manual up to November 27.

Most of the taxpayers preferred to pay taxes through manual system instead of e-filing  due to ignorance from automated system for filing taxpayers returns. People at  RTO Multan are facing difficulties in filing their tax returns by online support system due to less knowledge about it. The FBR has set a collection target of Rs 70 for the RTO Multan during the economic year 2015-16.

Federal Board of Revenue has extended tax returns deadline to facilitate more people that they will conveniently filed their tax returns. Taxpayers are relying greatly on the manual system at RTO Multan for filing of their tax returns.
