TDAP organises seminar to educate food exporters

KARACHI: With the aim to educate exporters of food items, the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) has organised a seminar.

According to an official statement, the seminar was also arranged for the exhibitors participating in the World Food exhibition in Moscow in September.

Pak-Russia Business Council Chairman Farooq Afzal gave a presentation during the seminar, covering detailed overview of the Russian market, opportunities, its challenges, market entry strategy, selling Pakistani products in Russian market, etc.

Russia is one of the potential markets for Pakistani products and huge prospects are available in this market to increase exports of Pakistani products, he said.

To get the full potential of the Russian market, the TDAP is participating in the World Food exhibition with 12 companies, as well as sending an 18-member delegation to Moscow and Saint Petersburg.

Viewing the potential of the market, during the current fiscal year, the TDAP is going to participate in five different exhibitions of agro-food products, textiles, surgical items and sports goods in the Russian market.
