TDRO to organise training sessions for business community

SIALKOT: Trade Dispute Resolution Organization (TDRO) Islamabad has announced to hold special training sessions for the business community to deal with foreign buyers and avert frauds.

TDRO Islamabad Director General Roubina Taufiq Shah stated this while addressing a seminar at the SCCI Auditorium here in collaboration with Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI). Assistant Director Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) Sialkot Ghazala Akbar and SCCI Assistant Secretary Sidra Shabbir were also present on this occasion.

During the seminar, the participants urged the TDRO to form a special board of all the stakeholders, which had the monthly meeting update, new development changes, suggestions, disputes/frauds, law enforcement and ban regulations.

On this occasion, SCCI Acting President Mir Alamgir Meyer gave detailed presentation on “Role of Chambers and Associations in Trade Disputes Settlements”,  Ms. Ismat Gul Khatatak(Director General PNAC Ministry of Science and Technology ) gave presentations on “Accreditation as a Tool to Overcome Trade Disputes”, Muhammad Ayaz Hussain (Deputy Director State Bank of Pakistan-SBP), resented a detailed presentation on “ State Bank regulations on Standard Payment Terms” and Mrs. Roubina Taufeeq Shah (  DG TDRO Islamabad )gave detailed presentation on “Introduction of TDRO and its Mandate”.

Mrs. Roubina Taufeeq Shah (DG TDRO Islamabad) today, also visited the Pakistan Gloves Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PGMEA) and discussed in details the matters of mutual interest with Sialkot based gloves manufacturers and exporters during an important meeting held there. PGMEA Chairman Muhammad Younas chaired the meeting.
