HELSINKI: The turnover of Finnish technology industry during January-July period of this year was two per cent smaller compared to the corresponding period of last year. The technology industry’s turnover in 2015 totalled 68 billion euros. Export of technology products during the January-July period this year fell by eight percent, the technology industry announced on Tuesday.
New orders received by technology companies of the country in July-September, in terms of eu-ros, was six percent less compared to the corresponding period in 2015. The personnel in the technology industry shrank by two percent in comparison to the 2015 aver-age. The personnel in the industry at present totalled 283,000.
