Telecom Argentina announces Net Income of P$1,041m for 1Q 2015

BUENOS AIRES: Telecom Argentina (‘Telecom’) – (NYSE: TEO; BASE: TECO2), one of Argentina’s leading telecommunications companies, announced today a Net Income of P$1,041 million for the period ended March 31, 2015, or +14.9% when compared to the same period last year. Net income attributable to Telecom Argentina amounted to P$1,028 million (+15.6% vs. 1Q14).

During 1Q15 Consolidated Revenues increased by 18.8% to P$8,872 million (+P$1,406 million vs. 1Q14), mainly fueled by the Broadband businesses, Fixed Data and Mobile Services. Moreover, Operating Income reached P$1,680 million (+P$303 million or +22.0% vs. 1Q14).
