Telecom imports increase by 19.03 percent

ISLAMABAD: Telecom imports into the country increased by 19.03 per cent during the first quarter of current fiscal year (July-September) as compared to the same period of last year, according to Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).

According to the data provided by the PBS, Tele Com worth $450,165 were imported during the first quarter of current year as compared to $378,194 of last year.

Mobile Phone worth $245,203 was imported during the first quarter of current year as compared to $198,205 of last year.

Mobile Phone imports into the country decreased by 23.71 per cent during the first quarter of current fiscal year as compared to the same period of last year.

Other Apparatus worth $204,962 were imported during the first quarter of current year as compared to $179,989  of  last  year.

Other Apparatus imports into the country decrease by 13.87 per cent during the first quarter of current fiscal year as compared to the same period of last year.
