Ten non-duty paid vehicles worth Rs62m impounded in a month

ISLAMABAD: The Special Car Cell of the Directorate Customs Intelligence and Investigation impounded 10 expensive non-duty paid jeeps and cars valued Rs62million during 14th of January to 14th of February 2017. The Customs I&I HQ Islamabad impounded these vehicles from Rawalpindi and Islamabad in different operations. The vehicles were running on roads with fake registration number plates.

The vehicles impounded include Mitsubishi Pajero No: KB-9999, Mitsubishi Pajero No: FDN 797, Mitsubishi Intercooler No: SWAT B-2645, Mitsubishi Pajero No: BA-6763 Karachi, Toyota Hilux Surf No: APF Model 2000, Toyota Land Cruiser No: NIL Model 1996, Toyota Hilux Surf No: APF Model 1997, Toyota Land Cruiser No: APF Model 1996, Toyota Land Cruiser No: APF Model 1996 and Toyota Land Cruiser Model 1997.
