NEW YORK: Tesco has started telling 2,000 members of its head office staff that they will lose their jobs as it was planned earlier to cut head office cost by 30 per cent as part of a reorganization.
It comes a day after Britain’s biggest supermarket revealed the locations of the 43 stores it will close as part of a shake-up by new boss Dave Lewis, who plans to turn the firm around.
