SYDNEY: The Tesla Model 3 set to compete with the likes of the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class will reportedly be officially unveiled in March 2016.
Reports suggest that the all-electric sedan from Elon Musk’s automaker will then go on sale by the middle of 2017.
The compact Model 3, of course, will slot in below the more expensive Model S.
It is expected to boast a range upwards of 320km.
Last month, the Wall Street Journal reported that the Model 3 sedan could also be released as a crossover.
