The German delegation met with key representatives of the Serbian customs and police authorities with whom the cooperation will be deepened even further.

Director of the Customs Administration Milos Tomic opened the initial meeting on April 4, describing an exchange of information as the strongest point of the cooperation so far, together with unselfish assistance in the form of trainings, exchange of experience and knowledge, either direct or through GIZ, the World Customs Organization and the Hanns Seidel Foundation.

The bilateral customs cooperation with Germany is among the top three, the officials noted.

The German delegation was led by Julian Wurtenberger from the federal finance ministry and Uwe Schroeder, director general of the central customs authority.
