Thailand authorities seize smuggled whisky worth B2m

SATUN: Crime Suppression Division and marine police seized a large quantity of smuggled foreign liquor in a raid on a modified fishing boat in Langu district of Satun province early on Monday.

A team led by Pol Col Sompong Suwanwong, chief of CSD Sub-division 6, boarded the fishing boat Chok Boonmee, which was moored in Tingee canal in tambon Langu, about 1am following a tip off about liquor being smuggled from Malaysia.
